Once the 18th-century home of Lord Headfort, Virginia ParkLodge is back on the map since its extensive makeover. Set in a private country estate the vast property can host up to 300 guests in its lakeside pavilion, with the historic banqueting room (above) holding up to 50. As you’d expect from its owner, Michelin-starred Richard Corrigan, good food plays a huge role, with the Lodge moving toward self-sufficiency, via its walled gardens, and the reintroduction of animals on the farm.
